One of the main features of the current process of internationalization of higher education is the increased mobility of academics, especially students in time of completion of his undergraduate studies. Based on literature and documentary research method on the subject, the article proposes an analysis of the key features of the geographical attraction exerted by the U.S. territory in relation to the flows of the current process of internationalization of higher education. The research concludes that this polarization that the country performs in global flows of students and scholars both contributes to the scientific-technological development of the country, and for the annual spend of massive amounts of dollars in the U.S. economy. In addition to the resources generated to pay for educational services rendered, the "client-students" still need to consume housing, food, entertainment, transportation, materials research etc.Downloads
